Under the careful care and protection of Maya and 33(11), all three chicks have thrived and later this month we will learn more about them when ringing takes place.
Morning ALL -
04:55 33 approaches with a huge fish for breakfish
taken by Maya
33 flies off and feed gets underway
06:59 33,having collected the fish to have his share once his family had finished, returns with the fish
followed to the nest by Maya
33 drops the fish t the back of the nest and stands with Maya - no one appears hungry
Out today but lovely to see this family already well fed with plenty fish left for the day. Catch up later - BFN
Istarted to watch about 12 minutes ago Chicks were alone, restingand preening
Then there was a great sequence of 33 flying in from the rear with a large, I think, flat fish The chicks heads were up but nobody got up
Then another beaytiful sequence of Maya flying in,, also from the rear but landing at the front of the nest As the chicks are spread out across the nest they are making a barrier
At last after nearly 15 minutes one of the chicks has risen and Maya manages to reach the fish that is atthe back of the nest.......but nobody seems interested 33 still standing at the front of the nest
Maya now has one taker
( Lost other captures)
