Morning ALL
I have been checking each morning to see if Maya is still sleeping over with the chicks and she has been up to last night!!
02:38 Maya has remained on the nest, head down with the chicks
02:46 Maya flies up to the cam post
chicks alone for a couple of hours on the nest with mum no doubt watching over them from the cam post
04:08 Maya returns to the nest
04:39 Tucks in along side the chicks
05:03 First feed from fish left over at the back of the nest from last night
07:04 Next feed from same fish as reported by PATILY above (another capture)
11:18 Fish!!
Maya and chicks surround 33
Maya hasn't quite got a hold of it as 33 moves off and the fish flaps in among the chicks
33 flies off - love the chicks faces
Maya moves round and pulls the fish out
few minutes later, feed gets underway
C ROP
Post from Rutland advising the chicks are now 5 weeks old and wont be long until they're ringed!!
19:00 33 arrived with a large fish - no sign of Maya - and one chick shows off its wings as 33 waits on Maya arriving
within minutes, Maya approaches the nest
33 starts on the fish and is just about to feed the chicks when Maya makes her way round
Maya takes the fish from 33
nice capture here of the Manton Bay Family
33 flies off and feed gets underway
and while two eat, the other shows off its wings
