Under the careful care and protection of Maya and 33(11), all three chicks have thrived and later this month we will learn more about them when ringing takes place.
Found him! He's back to the poplars at back of nest! Not bothered at all by this other bird who is also still there!
33 on right and stranger on left!
Hi LAM - thanks for the on the spot reports and captures - much appreciated.
Exactly my thoughts - is this one of their off springs? Be great if it can be +ID!!
33 did return to guard the nest but very slight wing flap so this intruding osprey does not seem to be causing them any alarm as you say.
11:38 capture
11:45 33 flew off. Interesting but I am leaning towards it perhaps being one of their young returned!!
How lovely you have got sighting of the chicks LAM - makes it all so worth while.
They have been quite lazy for a bit, all huddled up

but just wait until a fish comes !!
13:14 FISH!! Did you see it LAM? You called it right, 33 was indeed off fishing :-)
33 arrives with a live fish - Maya and chicks are up
13:15 33 flies off as Maya keeps hold of that flappin fish!!
feed gets underway
Yes, you called it right LAM - just so pleased you have seen this and of course just now you may being seeing the chicks' heads as they are being fed - wonderful. And you are right with the 2020 darvics - Blue 080, 081, 082 and 083, all thought to be males. Likewise, I am wondering if one of them is back - that would just be the icing on the cake for you
Here is some fantastic news about Blue S2(15) - 33/Maya's second chick who is breeding in the Netherlands!!
