07:51 Maya rises and we get a good clear view of the bobble
head up
close up - looking very healthy
and Maya returns to cover the bobble
07:52 As Maya covers up the bobble, 33 returns with the fish
33 leaves it at the back of the nest (Maya does not feed the bobble) and tries to get a peek at the chick but Maya has settled down

Hi Tiger,
It happened here at Manton Bay and it was 2019 when Maya and 33(11) raised their first brood of four. (Blue 54(19) and Blue 55(19) both hatched 11 May)
That was no chicks at dawn and two at dusk. That has happened rather more often than none at dusk but two at dawn.

Oh well then Tiger - I don't know! I misread your post and recalled two hatching same day. Hopefully you will enlighten us :-)
09:18 Bob gets some fish - think this may be its first feed?
head up and gets another bit
and another chunk

I must go out now - SYL
Look at the way 33 is looking at his offspring as though he never saw the like before He keeps walking around as though he doesn't know what to do Will he brood it?......and who put that flipping stick in the way?
