Gosh, she's back empty taloned and yelling at him!

I can't think he is catching these at the fishery, as they are too small.

Mistle's crop looks darn full.

Someone asked me on FB if I thought she was dropping these fish. I don't think she is, when you watch how easily they swallow the tail and skin I suspect fish of this size barely touch the sides.

No, I'm pretty sure she's eating them, not dropping them. The fish are small and her crop is full.

Noooo please not. I'm hoping he has found a hill loch or even Loch Garten which is stuffed with small fish.

Loch Garten sadly is too peaty for birds to see any fish and only very occasionally used by them.

My fishing advisor tells me fisheries put in fish weighing about 1lb, about 10/12". If Axel is catching small fish, he should be putting them back, under regulations.......
