Laddie (LM12) and NC0 have continued their excellent partnership from last season, not only with the incubation of their three beautiful eggs but also in defending the nest, and area, from intruding Ospreys.
During the middle of this month, all being well, we will witness three gorgeous chicks hatching and being lovingly cared for by their wonderful parents. Here’s hoping that fine weather, abundant deliveries of fish from Laddie, as well as NC0’s feeding skills, will see the little ones thrive.

From scroll back. Yet another fish from Laddie at 20:15ish!

L-R #3, #2 at the back. #1 had a bite or two before the others
Laddie left. He had spent a few minutes on the nest with his family
#1
#2
#3. Really loved the way NC0 stepped forward to reach its beak, she did this a few times
#2. By this time, #1 was turning away from the feed
All 3 chicks had full crops as the feed was ending
NC0 settled with the chicks at 20:27ish
Laddie collected the remainder of the fish at 21:10ish and headed off to eat his supper
He returned at 21:52 with empty talons
Cam zoomed in. NC0 was 'politely' asking him where the fish was!
Cleaning his talons
Off he went
22:18 NC0 dozing
22:51 Peek-a-boo
What a lovely photo to end the evening with Sandra, thanks for finding that special moment.
Morning all,
You're welcome Glider. I wonder if it was the same one that Scylla had videoed before...
No fish has been brought to the nest so far. NC0 has had a few comfort breaks and while she was away, the chicks had a couple of 'rumbles' - both times started by #3!!
Laddie has visited the nest a couple of times, bringing in sticks.

Unfortunately, I'll not be around to report for the majority of the day. Happy watching. BFN
NC0 is onto it straight away
Laddie watches the bobs get their first few mouthfuls then leaves.
The bobs are lined up #1, #3, #2
#1 and #3 got the better feed in the beginning. NC0 is starting to offer larger pieces which were mostly getting dropped.
NC0 then made sure #2 got plenty as well. Here we have the “Spaghetti Scene” from Lady and the Tramp with NC0 and #2!
As usual, #3 was first to fill up and lie down.
By the end of the feed, all 3 osplets were satisfied (even #1 who ate until the end!) The fish was gone in just over 20 minutes and NC0 did her clearing up duties.
