Laddie (LM12) and NC0 have continued their excellent partnership from last season, not only with the incubation of their three beautiful eggs but also in defending the nest, and area, from intruding Ospreys.
During the middle of this month, all being well, we will witness three gorgeous chicks hatching and being lovingly cared for by their wonderful parents. Here’s hoping that fine weather, abundant deliveries of fish from Laddie, as well as NC0’s feeding skills, will see the little ones thrive.

Sandra P said:When Laddie had left NC0 at 21:05, he settled on the tree on the left
Sandra P said:It was from there that he flew to land on the tree behind the nest (I'm not sure how long he was on there for)
This is from the download because my screen had gone into a buffer as described already, and the download version is full of mini-freezes so that explains what happened to my screen-capture. When he flies from the left tree he freezes mid-air and a couple of seconds later appears at the tree behind the nest.
But when will I learn? I've wasted sooo l-o-n-g on this, when all you really need is the crop I've tagged on the end, an uncut clip of Laddie's glitchy on/off the tree behind the nest.

22 May
02:30 NC0 took a short break at the back of the nest.
IMAGICAT
Daycam was 04:14. Before that there were several lift-offs but nothing significant seen.
Much more difficult to spot new spots on daycam
Osplet got in our way:
Brief exposure - but of osplets, not of egg:
This is the best I can do for breakfish delivery:
What appeared to be a good feed followed but no zoom whatsoever.
Morning Scylla, Glider and all Scylla, that was a lot of work that you put in to producing Laddie's evening movements vid, sorry for the frustrations that it caused. Super overnight coverage and yep, that certainly looks like a pip in egg #3 (no official confirmation from Lowes as yet). 9:03 NC0 fish calling
Edit: Chick #1 hatched at 37 days; Chick #2 at 36 days. Egg #3 is 34 days
Back up. New URL.
Whilst cam is still down, thought I’d add some photos of the feed that Scylla mentioned earlier.
Laddie arrives with a brown trout.
He stays for a few moments, checking all is well.
Then departs as NC0 is tearing into the fish.
Both chicks get a good feed.
As #1 flops down, #2 gets more fish.
NC0 snuggles them in again.
