Laddie (LM12) and NC0 have continued their excellent partnership from last season, not only with the incubation of their three beautiful eggs but also in defending the nest, and area, from intruding Ospreys.
During the middle of this month, all being well, we will witness three gorgeous chicks hatching and being lovingly cared for by their wonderful parents. Here’s hoping that fine weather, abundant deliveries of fish from Laddie, as well as NC0’s feeding skills, will see the little ones thrive.

Very much so, Glider!
From scroll back, a brief catch up...
Laddie delivered a small headless fish at 11:55ish
13:15ish While on incubation, Laddie rose from the eggs and began to alarm call and flap his wings
He's only just settled back onto the eggs when NC0 flew to the nest with a small stick
Both were on alert, Laddie still chipping

There was a second fish delivery at 16:39, a whole tiddler for NC0
NC0 transferred it into her right talons
Then left the nest
17:07 Laddie incubating
19:20ish NC0 could be seen flying over the Loch (from right to left behind the nest) and round to then make her approach to the perch where she landed
Laddie up and away
Not in this pic, but Laddie's shadow could be seen on the nest as he flew behind the cam
As NC0 came onto the nest, Laddie flew past from the left
He turned
And then flew back past the the left side of the nest and out of cam view
NC0 settled down to incubate
I'm not keeping up with events but am still screen-capturing this cam with timeline.
NC0 caught my eye when she protested at (probably) an intrusive Tawny Owl, when she slapped the nest. Footage is glitchy, is it just me?
IMAGICAT
Here's the breakfish delivery. No real clear view of the fish but I think it was headless
NC0 off to the birch

I would agree, a tawny owl Scylla. The grunting noise NC0 makes is exactly the same noise I’ve heard Dorcha at Loch Arkaig make when attacked during the night by a tawny.
Busy hour this morning between 10am - 11am approximately. Laddie flies in with a branch.
He then places it on NCO’s back!
