Laddie (LM12) and NC0 have continued their excellent partnership from last season, not only with the incubation of their three beautiful eggs but also in defending the nest, and area, from intruding Ospreys.
During the middle of this month, all being well, we will witness three gorgeous chicks hatching and being lovingly cared for by their wonderful parents. Here’s hoping that fine weather, abundant deliveries of fish from Laddie, as well as NC0’s feeding skills, will see the little ones thrive.

Oh excellent, thanks Scylla!
19:11 Laddie made a few contact calls before he left the nest
Eggs were alone for about a minute then NC0 made her appearance from the right side of the screen.. She made a circular flight behind the nest before coming onto it
She landed on a piece of bark

The LotL webinar recording of the live streamed event on 28.4.22 can now be viewed (2hrs 9 mins)
'Live from the Loch'
'See nesting ospreys, great-crested grebes and even a beaver during this live-streamed event from Loch of the Lowes Wildlife Reserve!'
21:50 NC0 has continued to incubate. She's stopped now but had been calling and looking across to the other side of the Loch, perhaps she had seen Laddie there
Morning all,
Laddie delivered a headless breakfish to NC0 at 5:08
7:20 Laddie is still on incubation duty
I've just had a scroll back prior to the fish being delivered. The cam zoomed to the birch area, perhaps looking for Laddie? NC0 was very quiet
4:37
NC0 returned at 8:58. Laddie had only just settled back down onto the eggs after repositioning himself
Laddie headed off
Good morning, Patily. You're welcome. That evening, after a 5 hour feast, NC0 returned to the nest, with the tail end of the fish 15 minutes after the webinar had finished. Laddie had it for breakfast the next morning. :)
