Many thanks to AG who wrote this preface to the Llyn Brenig thread for us (below)
Llyn Brenig is a reservoir on the border between Denbighshire and County Conwy in North Wales. It is managed by Welsh Water; the osprey project is a partnership between them and North Wales Wildlife Trust.
One pair of ospreys raised a single chick here each year from 2018-2020. Neither of this pair returned in 2021, when the nest was taken over by 2 Scottish birds, LJ2 (male) and LM6 (female), both 2018 chicks. The nest was vandalised the night after LM6 had laid her first egg; while the two could not continue to breed they did stay close to the site until normal migration time.
A new nest has been erected in 2022 with additional security and a streaming camera is in place. A new hide has also been built.

I'm not complaining !!! But I wonder if there's a reason for this very long view? I can't see places where an Osprey would be likely to be spotted besides on the nest/perches.
I see geese and gulls - today only geese up to the time that the Osprey, presumably LJ2, arrived.
This is rough cut, just to show the in and out, I'm guessing at 20:15 +/-.
When I checked in @ 05:00 I found that the cam had gone down 01:30-ish and I had nearly 250 4-hour files to delete - luckily they hadn't over-filled my hard drive
Have been holding fire in case I could post a new URL but nothing yet.
New URL.
Naughty LJ2 has been over at Glaslyn, checking out the empty nest there.
I've just found that the YT features (ie scroll back and pause) are now enabled for the link.

17:49 Osprey tail/wing? on the left of screen
Its head came into view as it was preening

I rewound a little bit before the above to find an Osprey flying onto that area with a fish. It had made its flight from the top left of screen to the right where it went out of view for a short time then appeared again to fly in with its catch
Apologies for the blurred pics
