All quiet on the Osprey front but all delighted to be able to watch the NEW nest on the NEW cam. Thanks to all for the hard work erecting / installing both. You derserve a sucessful breeding pair this year for your efforts.
Some people think Ospreys are a matter of life and death. I don't like that attitude. I can assure them it is much more serious than that.

FYI Just saw this on chat:8:35 AM Sue W KK2 is a Scottish Male bird from the Black Isle Estate just north of Inverness - if the intruder was KK2 the ring is on the left leg as per the one earlier this morning.
Did we miss an earlier intrusion? TWO earlier intrusions ???
(I'm confused, nothing's changed )
LOL. No, that is my US NYS EST time. You are correct that nothing's changed, i.e. it's the same bird we've been bashing our brains out trying to ID! Your sharpened images are much better than mine, but I still can't make it out!

Oh why didn't I twig?
I queried the intruder ID on Loch Garten & other Ospreys FB, and Valerie replied:
I would say CRjnger that the reads HH or KK or HK or KH and definitely a 2, so from your list HK2 or maybe HR2
Great to see that Mistle has been fed today.
