All quiet on the Osprey front but all delighted to be able to watch the NEW nest on the NEW cam. Thanks to all for the hard work erecting / installing both. You derserve a sucessful breeding pair this year for your efforts.
Some people think Ospreys are a matter of life and death. I don't like that attitude. I can assure them it is much more serious than that.
And another! But no fish....

Recap

Mistle waiting, pre-06:00 - she was scanning right 'n left, I couldn't make up my mind what angle to choose her little head at so this was random:
Mistle waiting, post-09:00:
09:43 - a better stick from Axel:
10:19 - a nice slice of bark:

Early (FF) sample of several nestcup sessions Mistle has had:
11:32 - keeping up the bad work!
He had a little preen and rest - that perch has got to go !!!
He's brought in some small clumps and fistfuls of soil, by the look of it. Mistle has pleaded to no avail so far - she's currently waiting:
This RF box has been open for about 2 hours so I wouldn't be surprised if I've duped folks but it's unawares, sorry.
