5F Seren hatched at nest K, Rutland, from parents Red 08 (m) and Yellow 30 (f). Chris Wood, who volunteers at the Rutland osprey project, has been following her for at least 7 years to Tanji Marsh in the Gambia. She has been at this nest with Dylan since 2020, after suffering abandonment by bigamist Aran at Pont Croesor.
Seren returned on 26 March 2022.
Dylan is unringed, he's been breeding at this nest since 2016, when he ousted dear Dai Dot.

07:56 - was it a flounder?
I'm too late checking Chat, there are no posts for either cam. However, here was the whole family this evening, Dad having returned with a small clump after his supper fish was finished with - no rings on show (besides Seren's, of course):
After a (nuther) torrid tech time today, no other news from me - but if anyone wanted anything checking I should find it for them, buffers permitting.)
Dylan's final offering of the day - but no-one wanted it so he left it there. Now 'n then the chicks birdhandled it but it wasn't until Seren dug it out from under them @ 06:03 in the morning that it got eaten - and even then, not all the chicks were very hungry.
I'm wondering whether to start a new thread for July-End of Season - I think it would be nice if they get ringed today.
