5F Seren hatched at nest K, Rutland, from parents Red 08 (m) and Yellow 30 (f). Chris Wood, who volunteers at the Rutland osprey project, has been following her for at least 7 years to Tanji Marsh in the Gambia. She has been at this nest with Dylan since 2020, after suffering abandonment by bigamist Aran at Pont Croesor.
Seren returned on 26 March 2022.
Dylan is unringed, he's been breeding at this nest since 2016, when he ousted dear Dai Dot.

This is out of date now because there's a feed going on - but I had to reboot eveerything because my internal network went down, so I've missed the fish.
I took this snap of a wet morning but coulldn't access it with this laptop:
EDIT !!!
I did get the fish after all... but can't tell if it was a Perch:

Small Perch? Seren had a bit of a job wresting it from Dylan.
This is a live snap, I don't even know what it looks like till it's posted:
Heehee, I've gone to enormous trouble to do a video of the intrusion a short while ago, but really there's nothing to see!
Incidentally, I set Cam1 to download whiile I was screen-capturing Cam2 from rollback (hoping to see something of the intruder but no luck)... the download lasted precisely 1m30s before buffering cut it off.
FISH !!! !!! !!!

A rainy morning - Seren had been trying to shelter the chicks but gave up when one of them had to get up:
She's looking at Dylan accusingly cos he only brought a stick (and a thin one at that):and stood there pondering:
Must be ringing time very soon!
Dylan disrupting everyone with another stick... even thinner than the last one!
Currently all the chicks are lying down and Seren is preening at the back of the nest.
I keep thinking of last year's boy - missing him.
Dylan brought a bigger stick but lost it over the side - then he brought a soft clump - then, so soon afterwards, a small FISH!
Reminder for me - ~12:42 the worst stick in the world (probably/possibly) - video later.
I see that John Williams has said on Chat that, safety permitting, the chicks will be ringed either tomorrow or Friday. Failing that, they'll not be ringed at all.
