5F Seren hatched at nest K, Rutland, from parents Red 08 (m) and Yellow 30 (f). Chris Wood, who volunteers at the Rutland osprey project, has been following her for at least 7 years to Tanji Marsh in the Gambia. She has been at this nest with Dylan since 2020, after suffering abandonment by bigamist Aran at Pont Croesor.
Seren returned on 26 March 2022.
Dylan is unringed, he's been breeding at this nest since 2016, when he ousted dear Dai Dot.

Both cams went down @ 18:40 - no nightcams.
On the Clywedog Osprey Group Facebook page John Williams has posted his photos of Seren, including her going after a Buzzard - scroll thru.
Sorry for non-Facebook members, I can't post them here without permission and don't want to bother him - he's a very busy man!
Here she was moments before flying off from the high perch in the direction she's looking, it was 18:16, our last sight of her before cams went down.

Seren has spent a long time away this afternoon but she had made some impression on the nest:
A moment ago she was surveying:
She has just flown off again.
I'm packing up.

I noticed Cam2 had ended a session so had to check it - no wonder the nest was empty for so long - she was up on the perch with a fish! This is the roughest cut I've ever made on a decent stream, but these were her activities over several hours in less than 2 minutes - which included a long, long look into the distance, as if she detected someone's approach but nothing happened:
See y'all... probably in the wee small hours ;)
