I think this will be an interesting season at Loch Arkaig - who is going to take residence is the big question?
For me it doesn't matter who, just as long as the nest is occupied.

14.48 Another unringed intruder, or yesterday's back again, I wonder. First part audio-boosted to pick up Louis skydancing off camera (means wind is very loud too but Louis is heard clearly)
17.17..08 Louis flies right to left across the camera view starting low down, turns, flies left to right, gains height then approaches coming in to land on the right. Fish number four arrives headless, it's a whopper of a trout.
18.30 Alarm calls heard as an Osprey is seen flying under the nest
21.45 Tranquil evening scene with the nest bathed in sunlight
23.00 Elevenses: Fish number five is delivered, small whole trout
04.04.09 Louis brings an early breakfast. Fish number one, headless trout. Looks a little old, but welcomed with enthusiasm.
08.53 Second breakfast arrives in the form of fish number two, a whole Brown Trout
11.18. A very big and silvery third fish arrives
15.00 Louis delivers the fourth fish
18.25.30 Fish number five arrives and is dished up immediately. Very orange flesh - salmon?
