I think this will be an interesting season at Loch Arkaig - who is going to take residence is the big question?
For me it doesn't matter who, just as long as the nest is occupied.

Golden goddess: Aila 2017 - 2020
With the excitement of the imminent appearance of Louis & Dorcha's first chick of 2022, my thoughts have been returning to Aila. I began this tribute to her last year but felt unable to complete it until now when it's certain she will not be returning. The music is Chopin's Nocturne in E flat major.
