I think this will be an interesting season at Loch Arkaig - who is going to take residence is the big question?
For me it doesn't matter who, just as long as the nest is occupied.

06.38 Misty morning mating in full view - lots of mating since reuniting two days ago - first egg in a couple of weeks!
Nest 1 15.50 Louis visits his old home with a fish, stays until 16.17. Nice to see him there!
Nest two: 14 April to approximately 13.00 after a very quick trawl of the stream. 05.13 & 05.43, skydancing I think. . 08.44, Louis brings a fish but refuses to release it and eats it himself on the nest. 09.10, mating 10.10, a wee bird (blue tit?) on the nest to 10.12. 12.29, Louis brings a fish, again he is not keen to give it up but Dorcha eventually takes it at 12.37 and flies with it at 12.39. I have to confess that unless they are head on I am finding it difficult to tell them apart. In particular the "flamenco dancer" marking on the back of the head that I used to easily identify Louis from Aila is very similar on both Louis & Dorcha. Ian
I am not sure who this is on cam 2? Appears to be incubating
