I think this will be an interesting season at Loch Arkaig - who is going to take residence is the big question?
For me it doesn't matter who, just as long as the nest is occupied.

An interesting visitor - a Sparrowhawk divebombs a Hoodie
A Sparrowhawk, a Hooded Crow and Sarafina all on the nest 19.51 - 19.57
Spooky Nest One in quick time 21.45 - 22.15
Today's videos: Not much happened today, Louis brought five fish, and dorcha hasn't yet brought any fish unlike Aila who'd been bringing fish to the nest for a while at this stage.
A bit of nipping between the two chicks but mainly lots of screeching, not much drama. Wonder if it will intensify as hyperphagia sets in before migration. Willow showed off her beautiful adult-coloured eyes before seeing off a crow.
07.26.29 Fish number one, whole BT
10.10.59 Fish number two, headless BT
12.26 Willow shows off her beautiful eyes before dealing with the crow
The final fish today, unless Louis pops up with an extra late delivery. He's looking a bit scrawny, should eat more. Five total
15.43.41 Fish number three, flatfish
18.34.39 Fish number four, headless BT
20.14.33 fish number five, nice big headless BT

Wednesday 10th August:
The first fish today, had to be worked out as Dorcha arrives at 05.27 with the remains of fish number five from last night, very quickly followed by Louis with fish number one for today at 05.28. Both chicks on the nest, huge squabble, Serafina gives Willow quite a peck, Louis backs off delivering, circles and then lands.
14.08 Ringed intruder on the nest! Can't read the ring, could be LV something. Lewis Pate ringed the chick at Bunarkaig, who was named Fishy by Lewis' young son, with LV7. So there are LV Darvics in the area.
