I think this will be an interesting season at Loch Arkaig - who is going to take residence is the big question?
For me it doesn't matter who, just as long as the nest is occupied.

Thank you Sheila. Yes, the birds and their eggs are tougher than they look. It's raining in London, but one of the WT chatters is actually at Loch Arkaig and reporting on watching what could be Louis diving for fish. Has seen three attempts with no success, which tallies with Louis' arrivals and departures at the nest. How thrilling!!

Dorcha eventually returns and turfs Louis out 23.18 1st May She was away for two hours and only returned after 11pm - we were wondering if she was going to stay away all night - Louis looked very settled and was reluctant to move, as usual.
