I think this will be an interesting season at Loch Arkaig - who is going to take residence is the big question?
For me it doesn't matter who, just as long as the nest is occupied.

Thank you Sheila and Scylla, no intention of fooling anyone so I went back and made it more obvious it was last year's arrival, and as George (Mr S) points out, he could be much earlier this year - come on Louis - fly high and fast back to us!
But speaking of ID, this little bird (nest 2 at 12.05.31) has been ID'd as a Treecreeper. Any other offers?

Here's one that I found by my backdoor

This is all your fault, GEEMEFF - I've been deleting Arkaig files, knowing you'd have them covered - then this morning I felt guilty so I had a quick trawl thru yesterday's Nest #2 and found little birdies and I done them - mainly cos I wanted RICHARD to admire my ID of one particular bird - the Blue Tit, of course
YT is still having trouble with preview thumbnails this morning.
You didn't mention the Raven.
You can't actually see it, but you can hear it in the first part of the clip.
16.13 Snowing on the nests - much as I'm anxious to see some Ospreys, I hope they stay away til this weather's passed. it's not sticking though, and interestingly, the colours of the two cams are so different you can barely see the snow in a screenshot on Nest 2.
