2021 return dates: LM12 (Laddie) - 21st March; NC0(16) - 25th March
Laddie and NC0 were an exceptional team during 2021, successfully raising two very feisty and well fed juveniles, LR1 and LR2. LR2 was sighted in Southern Spain on 3.9.21 and again on 25.10.21
2022 marks Laddie's 11th breeding year, NC0's 3rd, and very much hope that our wonderful pair have a safe, spring migration back to this stunning nest location at Loch of the Lowes.

Birdies LG DU update.

8:52 NC0 brought some fresh nesting material. She wasn't interested when Laddie attempted to mate, she lifted her right side/wing to get him off
8:58 A better attempt.
12:33 NC0 was being bothered by crows. One flew past the nest
12:38 She shot off the nest (some grasses went over the left side) to give chase when she saw one or two on the birch
There was an unseen intruder at 14:25ish. NC0 chipped and mantled
Both looked skyward
Laddie took off
He wasn't away long.
What on earth has Laddie brought to the nest (17:47ish) along with a clump of grasses?
Looks like part of a glove??
Edit: On watching again, and looking at earlier pics, the 'item' was already at the back of the nest - in front of the perch - he nestorised and brought it to the front
IMAGICAT
18:45 Cam zoomed in - definitely a glove
NC0 moved it to the front of the nest again. I hope it drops off!
