2021 return dates: LM12 (Laddie) - 21st March; NC0(16) - 25th March
Laddie and NC0 were an exceptional team during 2021, successfully raising two very feisty and well fed juveniles, LR1 and LR2. LR2 was sighted in Southern Spain on 3.9.21 and again on 25.10.21
2022 marks Laddie's 11th breeding year, NC0's 3rd, and very much hope that our wonderful pair have a safe, spring migration back to this stunning nest location at Loch of the Lowes.

This is the intrusion period you've snapped, SANDRA, tho I'm not sure I've got every salient bit ("bit" being a technical term!), up to the eventual reunion on the nest with the peck.
I'm wondering if the intruding Osprey pair might also have been involved ??? Lots of unseen EG voices herein.
IMAGICAT
Scylla, thank you. It was very confusing as to who the other birds were, as you've said, lots of geese calls and Osprey 'chipping' at the time as well. You're a star!
19:31 Looks like Laddie is on his feeding spot on the birch. NC0 has been calling on occasion. Hopefully, her supper will arrive soon
Laddie delivered the headless fish at 20:03
NC0 took it to the feeding branch on the birch after completing a circular detour over the Loch within that area
Another night at the nest for NC0? She landed on the perch just after 20:50

She's still on her perch, tucked - but earlier she was looking our way:
