2021 return dates: LM12 (Laddie) - 21st March; NC0(16) - 25th March
Laddie and NC0 were an exceptional team during 2021, successfully raising two very feisty and well fed juveniles, LR1 and LR2. LR2 was sighted in Southern Spain on 3.9.21 and again on 25.10.21
2022 marks Laddie's 11th breeding year, NC0's 3rd, and very much hope that our wonderful pair have a safe, spring migration back to this stunning nest location at Loch of the Lowes.

MaryGK said:On checking my files I think this is the same intruder from 2021 and also 2020 SCYLLA
(1) You are so enviably organised!
(2) The 2021 female looks strikingly similar
I'm very sorry if they haven't managed to settle on a nest of their own - we know where there's a spare, quite nearby, don't we?
Thank you, Mary !!!
I have to pack up for a while now, right in the middle of a Seren video.

17:15 A headless fish for NC0
Off to the birch to eat
Laddie brought a large, licheny stick to the nest at 18:13ish
Just before Laddie flew from the nest at 18:30
20:03 Laddie landed on the nest with a headless fish; it was a very brief visit
18.40 bats to the left, bats to the right - dozens of them!
Checking back, Laddie had a tail end of fish under talons which he didn't hand over to NC0. I imagine it was the same one as last evening
7:55 Just now, Laddie eating the remnants of the fish
