2021 return dates: LM12 (Laddie) - 21st March; NC0(16) - 25th March
Laddie and NC0 were an exceptional team during 2021, successfully raising two very feisty and well fed juveniles, LR1 and LR2. LR2 was sighted in Southern Spain on 3.9.21 and again on 25.10.21
2022 marks Laddie's 11th breeding year, NC0's 3rd, and very much hope that our wonderful pair have a safe, spring migration back to this stunning nest location at Loch of the Lowes.

I know I shouldn't focus on shortcomings, but Laddie's first couple of efforts this morning weren't up to his usual standard
They made up for it later!

Last evening's final fly-in to check that all was OK:
I forgot to do the sound for the Blackbird (right?) and others. Dang !!!
28 March
This morning NC0 (I'm pretty sure) landed @ 05:40, stood listening for 6 minutes, flew away. After 06:00 they were in and out, some successful matings and a goosey flyover but they weren't clear or loud.
10:04 - FISH !!! !!! !!!
I wonder if there's an intrusion now - 2 Ospreys are on the nest, one flap/mantling on NC0's perch, the other mantled over the nestcup - I'll have to wait till it's over to report.
scylla said:Definitely an intrusion
It went on and on. I think there was an unringed female on the nest, couldn't tell if a male came on view. NC0 managed to hold on to her fish - even when Laddie made a play for it
@ 10:28:48 (https://youtu.be/ZZ8gLe9-5uA?t=247) there's a hawky squealer's voice, ID anyone?
Culpritess? Heavily marked. Sorry it's a mess, I tried to brighten/define it.
On checking my files I think this is the same intruder from 2021 and also 2020 SCYLLA
