2021 return dates: LM12 (Laddie) - 21st March; NC0(16) - 25th March
Laddie and NC0 were an exceptional team during 2021, successfully raising two very feisty and well fed juveniles, LR1 and LR2. LR2 was sighted in Southern Spain on 3.9.21 and again on 25.10.21
2022 marks Laddie's 11th breeding year, NC0's 3rd, and very much hope that our wonderful pair have a safe, spring migration back to this stunning nest location at Loch of the Lowes.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Here's a blast from the past
Lady returns, 2012
Her last few years on the nest were all rather sad. Having recovered from terrible illness in 2010 (when two chicks fledged amazingly), quite a few eggs in the years after that failed to hatch or were taken by crows. Blue YZ was her last in 2013. Lady last appeared on the nest in 2014. A true osprey legend and in many peoples' hearts

Ohhhhhhhhh! I've got nothing for LOTL today, no idea what happened!
I've spent ages trying to find it according to the time of your post, but no luck - and what made it even more frustrating was that I could hear its voice
IMAGICAT
Wonderful picture!
Some people think Ospreys are a matter of life and death. I don't like that attitude. I can assure them it is much more serious than that.
This pair paid a flying visit early:
And here was the Mistle Thrush, unmissable today, it stayed nearly 5 minutes I was going to say that SANDRA would tell us what time it was, but now I see that CIRRUS was on the ball with a lovely contemporaneous (!?!?!) snap
.
That's up to about noon, there had been some dropouts but no new URL needed.
The afternoon was wet 'n windy. This Blackbird (?) sat on the perch almost motionless, just looking around, for over 15 minutes! I've been trying to do a video with the any song picked out but it's not possible, wind too loud:
Then, at about 17:45, the cam went down and is still not back up.
