Yes, YA did deliver a large trout to the dark female. Whether she will share it is another matter!

Thanks, JD, for all of the updates and it is good news that a couple more are back. I see the plot thickens with YA and his new lovely-on-the-side. Since he has been breeding with Mrs YA for some time, I imagine he will eventually abandon the dark Osprey and stick with Mrs YA. It will be interesting to see what happens next with that triangle. There was a pair on nest 7 last year or am I remembering it wrongly? If there was a pair there, I wonder what will happen if one or both return.

The same pair bred on Nest 7 in 2020-21. You can check previous years in the drop down menu on the Timeline in the blog. The female has just returned.
