Good Morning. Slept like a dead log as was so tired when we went to bed late, after my OH went out for a couple of hours. I was still slobbing on the sofa when he returned, too tired to be bothered to move.

AQ - Hope the tiles aren't too slippery now. Have they finished doing the driveway work next door, & does it look alien?

Lynette, we don't expect you to have the time to pop in here at the moment. There is so much to see to in your situation. Look after yourself.

Pat, that sounds as if you had a memorable day- especially discovering somewhere that does yummy food.

Lurker Alert! Good morning all - I have been really busy at work and had visitors last weekend. My Daughter and Spehi & Luna came on Friday for the weekend. Thanksfully we had good weather and was able to get our and about.

However on Monday after school Sephi tested positive for  Covid, along with others from her class so she and her Mum have been isolating since then. If she is negative tomorrow they will be free.

I have been reading all of your posts and when I eventually retire from full time employment (June hopefully) I will have more time to participate.

I hope all with troubles and illnesses get some respite and those with extreme weather can cope.

Talking of weather I use Accuweather and like to see what the weather is like around the world and saw this on todays site in Diane's area -

Well it's Friday again so all enjoy the weekend and I for one am looking forward to the mild weather in Suffolk this weekend and intend to get out for a brisk walk.

Harelady:  Yay!   For my final year at work I used to mark off the months and think "I'll never have to spend another January (February, March etc) here!"  We'll look forward to seeing more of you.  Hope all is well with Sephi.  That FedEx driver was very lucky.

Well, I seem to have cracked most of the paperwork now and changed over the essentials into my name etc.
Just got to have Sky change the package slightly. Funeral arrangements are finalised and monetry worries are subsiding. So, all is good and I feel a little less stressed now.

I had my Pfizer booster 3 hours ago; so far no reaction.

LINDA – Next Door’s driveway is finished but more days than not we see the gardening worker’s ute parked out front. OH has been amused by how often the new gate is left open. LOL
