  I tried to catch the Aurora tonight but couldn't do a video because the stream is extremely stuttery (I've tested it on YT rollback, it's not confined to my download).  This sample has been lightened a bit, but I can't do much with it because red speckles appear all over the picture if it's lightened very much.

  Oh yes, how great . A nest prepared - Richard used to leave moss in it didn't he? Hope he's doing well. Thanks Scylla. I agree we'll need a new thread,. I've popped this excitedly in my Loch Garten folder
