  Our herring gulls are red listed birds.  Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.

  Lovely pics as usual, Clare, especially of the birds in flight.
  I too, loved the stonechat. Did Limpy take pics too? I also enjoyed your first pic, a great study of the Lesser Known Eager Strongback a rare and special bird indeed!! Made famous by its stubbornness and wild, colourful plumage......
