I've been wondering how old Harriet may be - she's certainly no spring chicken!

As for M (bearing in mind that my coverage of this nest has always been sporadic unless I was doing it for Osprey Friends FB)... the latest video I have for Ozzie is March 2015 and the earliest for M15 is October 2015 - so somewhere in that 6 months Ozzie became injured and disappeared, was taken in by CROW, healed and released, tried to make a come-back but (I think) was driven off by M, who, as quite a young adult, had been supporting Harriet despite her having a juvie in tow.  I remember there being threats to H and youngster but can't remember details, and it's tragic that my records for that time are on broken laptops.

EDIT - the best place for info on this nest is buried in the Hancock Forum - I managed to find A Tribute to Ozzie, published in October 2015, but I think you'll have to be signed up to tumblr to access it.  Anyway, my dates are validated.

Thanks for that Info Scylla. What a star for M to support Harriet AND her juvie in tow !  A last legacy for Ozzie then.

1st November. Quick update on Flight of the Osprey (#FOTO): the team have arrived in Senegal, they're camped at ZebraBar inside the Langue de Barbarie National Park. Starting to see many Ospreys now.

Blue4K is roosting happily on his favourite tree in the Pongo River Estuary in Guinea, and the last remaining Tweed Ospreys juvenile Glen, Blue708, has finally made a move south on the 30th, leaving the Anllons area in Spain where he's been for weeks, and is now (1st Nov at1am UTC+2) nearly at the Portuguese border. Fingers crossed he doesn't go through the area where his brother Tweed Blue706 was recently predated by a Goshawk..

This afternoon 15:30 local time… the second osplet died of starvation after a few days of little to no fish due to the weather and a strong sibling

Sheer coincidence - I hadn't checked this nest for ? days but just did a few minutes ago, and happened to click several hours back into the 12-hour footage directly onto an obviously dead youngster.

I've extracted some clips but thought I'd better check here before I compile a video, just in case you'd already done one (((Bart)))  I'll add it in soonish, need to do a little chore first.

Sad video of #2's death.  The footage didn't go back any further than my start point.  It's a small fish that Mama shares with #1

So strange.. yesterday i just happened to check when the fish were delivered on the barge.. was almost sleeping.. then this morning I woke up early.. checked and it was minutes after it happened like I woke up from it…
