I'd been posting in "Forum Friends", here's a snap brought over, for the sake of starting this thread with something!

I'm checking the Hancock Forum, where they monitor very closely and get "inside info", and see that "After a consultation, it looks like M brings a nine-banded armadillo to the nest".
Re eggs - I see from my own vids that a few years ago H laid egg #1 on 12 November, so we're not very late yet. Hancock watchers are hoping for 2 within a week.
Bedtime routine last night:

Northeast Florida Bald Eagles - Samson & Gabrielle (Sam & Gabby)
I don't know whether they're ahead or behind SWFL in their breeding timetable - they were not badly affected by the hurricane. Here they are now:

By no means, Wendy - there's no excuse for eggs not to show themselves
SWFL - Harriet and M arre both on the nest at this moment but neither is sitting down and there's no egg. Quite a lot of soft stuff has been added tho.
NEFL - S&G were working on the nest earlyish morning, and look who then took advantage of their absence for a 40-minute nest test!
I think its eyes are more oriental than usual ??? (Windswept view.)
Samson & Gabrielle's afternoon (bits of it)
Harriet had been on 'n off the nestcup about 4 times before she eventually seemed to settle for more than a few minutes - she's still there as I type:
SWFL
Harriet had two different categories of bird pass by - the first was probably an Anhinga:
She is spending the night on the nest - I can't yet see any detail, due to no IR, but I'll check again before packing up. If you doln't hear from me...
Nothing much to see here but H&M are spending some night-time on the nest too - I shan't be up to keep tabs on them:
Heart warming video Scylla, thank you. But my heart goes out to all nature everywhere at the mercy (or otherwise) of the elements.
