Pat - I have gone an unflattering shade of green as you saw a kingfisher - I've never seen one in the flesh. Sounds as if you're having a good day, there!

Bright sunshine here so we intend to shop for supplies, then laze around a bit today to enjoy it!

LINDY/PAT Yes, a kingfisher is a very rare sight for us. We saw one once by the canal and were mesmerised. My Oh also saw one more recently at a different part of the canal but I was 30 sec behind him and so missed it.

Forgot to tell you all that we went to see "The Father" last week. It was a heart rending film, beautifully acted.

EE:  Thanks so much for letting us know about OG; do hope the antibiotics can sort it out quickly.  Heather especially noted she was AOL this last week and was worried....
