Weekly Chat (Non-Osprey), 27 June 2021

Just a brief call-in to say I have been resting a few days after damaging my left foot getting out of bed one morning. Bones and ligaments seem to be aligned correctly now, but there is some bruising inside. Can't sit here long enough to catch up on the week, but hope to look in day by day in the new week from tomorrow - meanwhile Independence Day wishes across the pond!

Sorry to hear you have more hurt OG. Look after yourself.

We've had a mixed weather day - managed our usual walk by the Straits this morning but had raincoats at the ready! The clouds are often black and threatening. Yesterday it brightened up and we were able to sit outside.

Bonnies foot has been a constant worry- we were delighted to see that it's looked as if it was almost healed up yesterday and thought we'd come to the end of the saga, but this morning as my OH was reaching for her fresh sock after taking off her head cone, she managed to lick it and do damage- it only took 5 seconds! We have sent for some proper surgical tape and some "doggy boots" which might do the trick.

The water was like glass in places today. There is an egret in the centre of this picture!! LOL!!

Buddlhea growing wild and already flowering in a sheltered spot. Ours at home is nowhere near blooming yet.
