Absolutely delighted to have watched three precious eggs being laid. Laddie and NC0 have perfected their incubation duties and, through trying times during April, defended them and the nest from multiple intruding Ospreys. Hopefully, it will not be too long until we see three chicks being cared for by their super parents.

Many thanks for the alert, Billy, good to see (through scrolling back) that Laddie has done an incubation duty this afternoon
13:00 Flying in with a small piece of nesting material. NC0 was quite vocal but really hoping she has had something to eat
NC0 leaving
She headed to the birch
14:15 NC0 returned appearing quite wet, perhaps after having a bathe
Laddie off
She is still on incubation duty at 16:33

16:43
Laddie delivered a fish just before 18:30
NC0 flew behind the back trees and made her way to the birch
NC0 arrived back landing on the perch at 19:03
How idyllic is this?
She took flight a few minutes after landing and headed towards, and then beyond, the birch. She gave a contact call prior to leaving to inform Laddie she was popping off again
19:37 NC0 returned with a stick and took over incubation after placing it on the right side of the nest
He veered left out of cam view
No time, but it couldn't have been long after your last post, SANDRA, that NC0 got a fish - she didn't bring any back, and perched on her perch for a while then flew off again to the birch before returning for the night shift.
There have since been some cam dropouts but they've recovered themselves with no manual intervention necessary.
Early morning, NC0 called for quite a while and Laddie eventually took over:
IMAGICAT
Morning Scylla, Patily and all
Yes Scylla, the fish delivery was just before 18:30 yesterday (super pic!)
Laddie arrived at the nest around 4:45 this morning to relieve NC0
5:30
NC0 returned just before 6am with a small clump of moss. It was a slightly 'messy' changeover as she stood on the tip of Laddie's wing, it made him stumble as he pulled himself up
Laddie came back at 7:05 with a thin stick. He did some 'housekeeping' where he moved a thicker stick from the back to the right side of the nest
After all of that effort, he knocked it off when he flew off!
8:55 NC0 is fish calling
