Absolutely delighted to have watched three precious eggs being laid. Laddie and NC0 have perfected their incubation duties and, through trying times during April, defended them and the nest from multiple intruding Ospreys. Hopefully, it will not be too long until we see three chicks being cared for by their super parents.
19:31 A (small) fish delivery for NC0. It got snagged on a large stick as well as Laddie's talons, took a couple of tugs from NC0 to take it before leaving the nest
That stick caused problems as, when Laddie was moving it off the nest cup (where it had landed during the melee), he was slipping/walking on the eggs at one point

20:05 NC0 returned with a small bunch of twigs
Laddie stood up and flew from the nest
She placed them on the side
Then settled on the eggs
NC0 took a quick break from incubating just after 7:30
8:05 Laddie delivered a fish
NC0 to the birch
8:12 Laddie incubating
BFN
Morning catch up:
10:45 There was an unseen intruder, Laddie came to the nest and both looked skyward, NC0 chipped. He stayed with her for a couple of minutes before leaving
About 10 minutes afterwards, NC0 chipped and left the nest leaving the eggs unattended for under a minute.
Laddie arrived to take over incubation
NC0 came back just before 11:10 with a stick then nudged Laddie off the eggs. He took off
NC0 incubating once he'd left
So far this afternoon
14:50 Laddie brought a fish delivery but it didn't look much at all
NC0 flew off and took a flight around behind the back trees, veered to the left and sped past under the nest
She came back under 10 minutes later with a piece of bark
Laddie took flight and NC0 settled to incubate
That was up until 15:00. NC0 has remained on egg sitting duty since.
17:10 She is fish calling
