HAPPY BIRTHDAY, AQ!   I hope you had/ are having a good day Downunder, and that you're now feeling much stronger. Glad you've been able to get out and about more lately.

AQ - I see, well at least you will be almost immune in about 10 days time. You never know, maybe OH will surprise you and go and have his jab but as you say you can't force them to. Love the quotes.

Lindybird - have you a gammy knee as well. so have i , just have to keep plodding on with it although it does get tiresome at times as I can hardly walk. Still, not going to let it put me down for too long.

OG - O OG, how frustrating. Yes, he should really sort it out and send it in an easier form. Can you not ask him politely to send it via JPG?

Diane - nice to hear you are planting again but be careful, don't want you landing in hospital again. As for the rocks, leave them to your grandson to manouver them into place.

Its on record as being a dry April but a cold one and still no sign of any significant rain which the ground could do with but in moderation!!

Thank you OG, LINDA & LYNETTE for birthday greetings and LINDA for clematis. Dau & appendages are coming for a’tea. She asked what she could bring. I said “3 kids & a spouse.” I bought a wee choc & raspberry cake that probably looks better than it tastes but there will only be a morsel each. I made Anzac bics yesterday and will make gem scones after lunch. Also the usual savoury bics, cheese & gherkin. All cleaning & clearing done over past 2 days so I am not tired.

LINDA – At one time I used a long elastic bandage which I wound around my knee for support. That way I could control the tightness, or otherwise.

HEATHER – I like the cushion quote.

OG – I too would be tempted to publish “as it comes” but perhaps your minister has no idea how else to do it and hasn’t the time to stop & learn.

ANNETTE – Have you heard the words “slow down”?
