Another update from George
LATEST NEWS AS OF WEDNESDAY MORNING*******************Louis was on the nest from 10.24.20 this morning and had a run-in with a hooded crow.We are not seeing much action within the view of the nest camera at the moment.Louis has however been on the nest every day at some point.LizBs observations on the ground tell us there are ospreys spending time at one of the other platforms in the forest. It seems likely this could be Louis and the female we have seen fleetingly. So it may be that Louis raises a family out of our view this year. There is still time for the action to switch back to our camera nest though. And for all we know an entirely fresh pair of ospreys could come and take it over. Birds are still moving around the UK. And you never can tell, Aila may show up yet. In which case you all ask, what will happen if Louis has a new female at a new nest? In which case i answer - I have no idea!

Besides the crow's visit, we had two other visitors, a Coal Tit and a Siskin.

It's still down patily, every now and then it defaults back to yesterday afternoon. Trying to compensate us, maybe!
