The trail of the lonely Raptor Worker this morning.
Morning! The livestream was on and off during the night, seems to have settled down since it last came back on at 4am-ish. Louis also seems to have settled down after his alarm at the early morning repair man's visit, and is having fun with sticks.
He was also having fun with sticks yesterday, here's the latest in my Classic Ospreys series:

How wonderful to see Louis busily attending the nest this morning, although I felt he needed to catch a fish for himself.
He arrived before dawn
05.55 It got lighter and he was still on the nest
Looking around a lot - where is she. she's late
Do you know where she is?
He left the nest around here, and returned 08.42 and then started some frantic nestorising, not so much kicking in the nest cup, but more bringing in nesting material
08.45 he leaves and returns
he leaves and returns
and almost immediately leave
08.49 he returns with a twig
This continued ... 09.07. He really does need to go fishing for himself!
He was on and off several times before he started on the soft furnishings
Flies off and returns with bracken to add to his earlier delivery of looks like moss 09.12
09.19 after another three trips he brings in more bracken
09.23 was the last time I could find him.
It looks as tho the sun is shining over the Loch, but not on the hillside, just yet!

14.06 Louis is sitting in his usual spot right now. I can't see if he has a fish but doesn't look to be eating.
I also saw the osprey at the Bunarkaig nest (possibly our Young Pretender) around 1.30pm on my way home.
14.11 Edit: Louis does have a fish and is tucking in.
Thank you, George, it was very considerate of you to let us know that you awaited news - saves a lot of "wondering"
Thank you, SHEILA, for passing on those news items

Sad and lonely - I think MARY posted this snap but didn't know that when I chose it - ideal for us to angst over:
He pulled himself together and brought in colourful nest materials - a sample:
