Arrival dates
Laddie 21.3.21
NC0 25.3.21
It has been great to witness Laddie (LM12) and NC0 renew their bond and also begin to make a safe and cosy nest for impending eggs. It is encouraging to watch NC0 much more comfortable in her surroundings and hope that all continues goes well for them both from here on in.

A brief catch up
11:52 A rather explicit(!) mating to cam
12:50(ish) She left the nest and landed on the birch. Flew off from there but another Osprey (assume Laddie?) landed on top of a birch branch, flapping wings and some chipping.
NC0 returned to the nest with a stick a couple of minutes after that, flying in via around the birch corner
13:11 Some soft calls and she left the nest

13:47 One has landed in the nest tree, gave a short chirp (flight unseen)
13:53 Laddie to the nest, he appeared to flap down from the tree
Flown 14:04
Thank you for the continuing conscientious reporting SANDRA - and to MARY, wow! What a super framed portrait of dear NC0, I hope - no, expect!- you have inspired her

NC0 arrived onto the nest 14:16, once again flying via the birch corner

Always a pleasure, Scylla
There was a fish delivery around the time of your recent captures. It was about 14.00. Laddie landed, and dropped into the cup with all the dead grass/straw. I didn't realise he had a fish at the time. He just stood there. NC0 arrived from the camera side of the nest. She looked at his feet, in anticipation and I thought she would be disappointed. But...she went down to his feet and dragged a fish away!! She stood for a while before taking off, flying low from the left and around the 'point' into the distance
NCO landed from our side
There must be a fish there, somewhere!
Off she goes with the fish
and off into the distance around the 'point'

Oooh thank you, I'd popped over to Aberfoyle! That's fab, Sheila!
Intruder!! Hovered overhead while NC0 was sitting...she flapped it away
It could be seen flying from right to left over the Loch afterwards
