March thread.
This post updated 01 June
MrsG returned on the 25th of March and was joined by Aran on the 29th.
(The beginning of the reunion video is a must-see for all fans of MrsG - I'm posting it today 01 June, to remind us of a happy time before the tragedies of May 2021.)
The month of May brought unrelenting wind, rain and corvids, as well as persistent intruder KS8 (among others) - and Aran somehow injured his right wing, rendering him unable to fish. Within a few days all the chicks had sickened and died. It could hardly have been more stressful for MrsG and Aran, but they are recovering together while the caring Glaslyn team is supplying fish each night.
(The chicks' bodies have been removed from the nest by Aran and MrsG, so we shall never know the cause of their deaths.)
In the right margin of this page are links to Glaslyn's posts documenting the misfortunes on the nest.

Aran flew in around 05:00, stayed about 15 minutes, maybe he was defending, I coudn't tell.
Later, Mr and Mrs were out on a tree, side by side:
That's where they were @ about 07:50 when the cam went down - from rollback I see that they flew, one quite a while after the other, and the cam's been on the empty nest ever since.
Birdies LG DU update.

Thanks MIKE - I can't keep up with everything today, I'm overdue for packing up and... off I go pronto !!!
Mike B said:...gone again!
And I'd passed out by then, so I woke up to a flood of 44-minute downloads because that last stream kept sending out its signal, and what with LoTL doing the same thing, and me forgetting to "fix" Clywedog... what a mess I've had to sort out
I see from Chat that a HARE was captured oncam in the morning - not by me, it wasn't, what a dang shame
I found nothing more to report in all the available footage for the 12th.
The cam has been in a very dark buffer all night but sound is coming thru. We'll have to wait for Heather to come on duty and reset the cam, but I bet I'll be obliviously engaged in something else...
I forgot to check, of course - here's the new URL.
Looks like they're using the old cam:

14 July (a bit late, sorry!)
A quick run-thru tells me that no-one was on the nest until...
20:30 approx, when MrsG flew in to defend the nest vs unseen threat:
She roosted on the perch overnight.
