Some people think Ospreys are a matter of life and death. I don't like that attitude. I can assure them it is much more serious than that.

Birdies LG DU update.
In the run-up to darkness last evening there were deer in the distance and quite near, they couldn't be distinguished clearly.
No-one seen this morning up to 20 minutes ago.

First photo of the day is of an empty nest, but everything crossed for a pair to make this their home in 2021.
It is so good to see the nest again after all this time.
All we can do now is watch and wait!
No-one at the feeder just now, some pigeons on the table and ground - they popped off and were replaced by an unknown bird just as I snapped:
That's better Mike - we may be able to tell if its a male or a female who lands on the nest. Where is our Osprey from yesterday, please come back!
