All the HISTORY of Balgavies Loch Ospreys can be found at the start of the 2019 THREAD.
It is a SWT Nature Reserve near Forfar, Angus, Scotland. There is no webcam on the nest, and there is no Visitor Centre, only a small Hide with limited car parking spaces.

The nest failed in 2020 and 2019 but the new male KR3 and Unringed female were seen at the nest last season, so lets hope they both return this season and are able to occupy the nest before the geese take residence.

A sighting of Tweed Valleys male chick FX0 (2015) at Balgavies Loch, Forfar yesterday evening. Darren sent me these wonderful photos of him. It is always fabulous to know of another Osprey who has survived migrations and is still around.
Hi Patily
According to SueC's Ringed Birds and Sightings on Imagicat https://www.imagicat.com/SueCospID7.html
He was sighted @ Venus Pool, Salop & R. Severn during Summer 17
Darren has updated the Balgavies Facebook Page and added some more photos of FX0

One of the extra photos - which must be a lovely sight for Tweed Valley.
He said there were 4 Ospreys at the Loch all at the same time.
More cracking photos of Blue YD @ the loch yesterday taken by Norman Davidson.

Blue YD looks in fine fettle Sandra, he says this is my nest and I am staying. Off hand I cannot remember another chick taking over their natal nest, (in the public domain) I mean. I am sure there will be but I cannot think of any.
