End of the season (but I understand from FB that KR3 was still on the loch on the 3rd of September) and happy to know that three juveniles successfully fledged this year. Thanks go to Mary and other posters (and photographers!) for your accounts, it was a pleasure for me to go through the events.Sorry to read that Mary is suffering from shingles, my best wishes for a quick recovery.

It has been a wonderful season for Balgavies, after 2 non-breeding years.
This is probably Darren's last Osprey post on the page, he sums it up well. Despite having no webcam Balgavies is blessed with such wonderful photographers who are happy to share their photo's, I think this makes the place so unique.

It was good to know that Blue YD was sighted a few times at the Eden Estuary after his departure from Balgavies having being seen off by KR3.
Roll on next season when hopefully I will be posting a bit more.
