Hallo all! Here some photos taken during my morning walks along Cathedral Oaks Blvd and the citrus orchards below the foothills. The only thing that is missing are the oaks (!), but AQ will recognize the eucalyptus.

What a beautiful poem LINDY

We were lucky enough to see a kingfisher by the canal this morning....a rare sight indeed. Got back just in time from this afternoons walk..... the heavens opened a minute later!

Never seen a Kingfisher in the flesh, so I'm really pea green, Dibnlib. Glad you enjoyed the poem. Blackbirds are special. It's hard to describe how sublime it is to hear them in full song.

Thanks for all your news. Hope you all have a good weekend. Not to long to go before restrictions will be relaxed and meetings can take place. It will be nice when we can get together with family in each others homes, perhaps for a meal, but that is still some way off.

Lindy - what a lovely ode to a blackbird and the camelias are beautiful.
