  I was really sorry to read on Raptor Persecution UK site that LRWT has decided that it will no longer be holding the internationally famed 'BirdFair'. I didn't attend every year, but I was a regular attendee and loved having the opportunity of meeting up with friends I have made on the Forum and FB through my love of osprey.  It will be missed

  Sad, but understandable. We will just have to arrange to meet up somewhere with Ospreys ourselves! We will still go to Rutland in 2022, the virus permitting, but at a different time of year, Hope to be viewing Ospreys at Poole Harbour next year, fingers crossed, about the time of the usual Birdfair.

  The Guardian has an article on the closure of the BirdFair with comment from Tim Appleton who founded the event 32 years ago.

  Saw this on Wednesday: https://globalbirdfair.org/. The dates are 15, 16 and 17 July, F-Sun. I doubt we will be able to go, unfortunately, but will definitely try to get there next year if they find they can afford to do it again.
