Yes the Osprey was very clever to dive back into the water, shows they have brains too 

I have been 'lurking' and following the news, just not been posting. And of course sad to see my main interest nests not doing well as far as we know, ie LotL and Loch Garten. tBoL

Yes it is such a shame TBoL what has happened at Lowes, and of course we live in hope of the webcam being switched on at Loch Garten, and find we have Ospreys on the nest 

Hi, Badger, Yes very strange times at the moment, no LotL's, no Loch Garten, I believe you and I used to enjoy Caerlaverock, doesn't seem to be operating this year, and no ospreys at Aberfoyle either

Very interesting Diane! Interesting that the left foot is more favoured as the front foot. I know as a right handed person I favour my right foot. Maybe the concept of right/left handed/winged/footedness doesn't exist in ospreys, or if it does, left-footedness prevails!!

Hi, Korky. I was trying to remember which foot I put forward on a skateboard. I'm right-handed, but I think I put my left foot first so I could push with my right. LOL! Nice to see you.

Fascinating, Diane, thank you. I'm right handed and think I would put my right foot on a scooter and kick with my left - but it's so long since I've tried I'm not sure I remember, LOL
Badgie, Lovely to see you again. I am sure we all miss EJ and Odin, such sad times, and no news either. I think an unringe f and a White ringed male (forgotten the number) have been seen now and again on the Aberfoyle nest. Probably the White ringed male that had a short liaison with Clarach, last year?
