I think there is a need to still have this thread, so although "not with Tiger's flourish" have opened it to last 3 months which should be suitable for any useful and interesting snippets, news, links etc.

Thanks for the thread MaryGK. And what an amazing video. Interesting strategy by the osprey to drop back in the water to evade the peregrine. tBoL :-)
Well Hello TBoL, long time no see, I am glad that the video brought you out of the wood work so to speak. I hope we see more of you again.
Yes the Osprey was very clever to dive back into the water, shows they have brains too
Yes it is such a shame TBoL what has happened at Lowes, and of course we live in hope of the webcam being switched on at Loch Garten, and find we have Ospreys on the nest
Hi, Badger, Yes very strange times at the moment, no LotL's, no Loch Garten, I believe you and I used to enjoy Caerlaverock, doesn't seem to be operating this year, and no ospreys at Aberfoyle either

Hi, folks. Forgive the interruption. Please continue with your conversation. I just thought I'd post this link to a short article and short podcast (only about a minute or so) that gives some info from a research study on osprey flight. It also has a lovely photo. Hello to all of you. I hope you are all safe and well.
