IMAGICAT
MaryGK said:Oh dear is it just me or has the site went on a go slow, taking ages with burling wheel to post or go from thread to thread.
Yesterday it did that to me, not this morning tho but I'm later posting that you were :)
Re the cam res, there's some discussion on Chat, including this "The low resolution of the image has been reported. It will be investigated when the people who look after the IT get the opportunity".
Squirrel on the nest this morning - it was still for so long, I thought the cam had frozen:

This was hours later, but TheGreatGeraldo thought he might be hearing a Gold Crest.
... ... ...
I've tried to find the call he was referring to but it's hopeless without a timeline, and most of the period (according to my bad maths) is dominated by mega-loud wind!
A goldcrest is quite feasible SCYLLA - thanks for the info.
Just a reminder to anyone who shops on Amazon - you can select a Charity to donate to while shopping on Amazon. Its not a fortune but its better than nothing.

I've been doing it for Glaslyn ever since I saw PATILY say that she did it. As you say, it's not a fortune, but a side-effect is that I don't feel so guilty for shopping with the megamonster
Heather change the cam for the night view - something to do with the 4K cam being very sensitive to IR - I had noticed that the mornings flashed between night and day for about 15 minutes.
Still windy this morning - the grey squirrel visited again

Later on we had a long close-up of the Squirrel but it kept going out of focus; then another zoom, onto a Starling on the perch:
