Familiar sight - nearly finished rebuilding after routine demolition:
But soon after that... was it because there was a little fault in it?
Not a single solitary other soul seen on the nest.

So nice to get a visitor, and such a pretty one - but he kept his back to us throughout:
I had some stream dropouts after that.
In reply to Cirrus:
I know it's of no consequence to nest events, but it's all that's reliably provided activity - until a few nights ago when (as per a video covering the event) the resident spider suddenly cut down the newly-spun web and promptly (apparently) downed tools.
Well, tonight the spider made a brief appearance from the right-hand side, so I think it must have spun its new web off by the side of the lens. But I wish it had finished demolishing the old one.

It heeded me
That was last night - no nest activity seen all day and tonight so far, apart from some ngiht-flying insects and aerial phenomena for a while.
We had a visitor this morning and it stayed quite a while - a very perky chap too! Such a shame there was no sun to make him/her glossy:
I can't boast about ID-ing the REDWINGS, CIRRUS, because it took so long for the penny to drop - but drop it did, with no outside assistance because when I googled a description the results included Jay, Red-winged Blackbird and many others with no resemblance to the description.
The Magpie is a bit of a charmer but we won't say that if s/he pinches eggs.
