It could be the squirrel who's been moving the gorse - I've noticed that no other sticks move at the same time, making it unlikely to be the wind.
No-one seen on the nest so far this rainy day.

I've done you a lovely crop and improved the sound of this little bird, who was flitting about the nest for 7 minutes. (The only name I can remember which fits the ones I never know is Meadow Pipit, and it's not that.)

Yesterday (Saturday) mid-morning, the Squirrel popped on to relieve an itchy body (and I'm convinced it was underneath the front messing with the gorse too), and a couple of minutes later a Jay landed on the left edge - didn't do anything and flew off:
I had been wondering about the missing corvids - then there were 2 this morning (but they weren't shiny) and this one this afternoon:
I'm only seeing one spider at a time so don't know if there are still two - but the disruption continues. Last night the web was cut as usual, then a "bunch of grapes" was created, then the usual web was spun:
